There's an episode of Star Trek: DSN where Sisko, Bashir, and Dax go back in time to the sancturay riots in SF sometime in the mid 2000s, IIRC. Clint Howard plays a crazy person who thinks he can make himself invisible by waving his had in front of his face and saying, "Whooosh! I'm invisible!"

Well, I accidently did that to myself a while back, so I figured I'd start a thread only I can see. hahahahaha

It's about Bullshit.

As in, what kind of bullshit gets under your skin. For me, it's those bullshit "male enhancement capsule" commercials. What bullshit.

Oh, and adverts that claim vitamins provide engerny. They do not. That's bullshit.

I don't mind those "enhancement" commercials themselves ("dorky" has its charm), but what I DO mind is that they come on during the daytime, during the early evening hours, etc., and having my kids ask "what's that mean?".

For the time when I didn't hit the remote fast enough to change the channel:

The answer to the older one was, "supposedly it allows them to have an erection that either last longer, is firmer, or is bigger, or all of the above."  Her answer... "yeah right."

The answer to the younger one was, "it's supposed to give them more energy."

Speaking of enhancement bullshit ads, I chuckle when the Viagra, Cialis, etc., commercials come on. In a room full of people, chattering away during the commercials, when the announcer quietly and quickly goes throught the list of side effects and disclaimers, when he says " erections lasting for 4 hours or longer require medical attention", somehow that cuts through all the chatter, and everyone perks. Brilliant marketing, but, imo, bullshit.
