On June 13, 2008, both McCain and Obama released their Senate financial disclosure forms.
While both men are certainly wealthy, neither one seems to be 'mega-rich'. McCain's net worth is estimated at between $25mil and $39mil. Obama's estimated net worth was not provided by the article, but he received $4mil last year in book royalties alone.
The disclosure forms provided information about the financial affairs of the candidates' wives as well.
