Hey everyone, I have went to a lot of sites you guys have suggested.  I was wondering if any of you knew about boots for women with really large calves.  My feet arent all that big, but I have large calves.  Sometimes uppers will have spandex or lycra and then they work, but it hard to find.

i know www.intimatefashionz.com has Pleaser shoes and they run in sizes from 6-to about 16 on most pieces!

http://www.duoboots.com makes boots in sizes 35-43 with variable calf widths (from 30 to 50cm.)

Also shoes size 35-42 in three widths.

There are flat boots as well as heeled. It's not a fetish site, but I highly recommend it.

I find a lot of the actual brand names also carry up to 11-12 if you go directly to their sites.   depending ofcourse what you are looking for :)  I wear 11 myself and recently got a pair of sketchers maryjane flats online.   as for more fetish type shoes.  I like ebay as they seem to have a pretty good selection most of the time and theshoeguy i think was mentioned in one of the above posts as well.  my absolute favorite pair of stilleto's came from http://www.thehighestheel.com   they go up to size 14 i believe and have some really sexy heels ;)

My favorite pair that i own is Cadiz, but you may have good luck finding a lower heel

I have to give a big DITTO to LatexBarbie's suggestion of ElectriqueBoutique!  They are Da-Bomb.  They carry all the Pleaser shoes plus other brands and run the best mark down sales on the net!  If you check my profile. ALL my shoes - except for the clear 'Sinderella' shoes - came from EB.  The white thigh high boots have ample room for my 'Gym' calves and cost less than $15.  They are so soft and domfortable, you would think they were high end leather.

About the wide-calf boots (being a former Scottish dancer, that's an issue, too), the best info & options I've found so far is zappos.com; they're not much for cheap boots, but there are some Fitzwell and others for $90-160 that I've considered very seriously, especially because they offer free shipping both ways, measurements of boot height and circumference, and customer reviews including the unhappy ones.

Just for everyone's info, I'm also tempted by a few things I found at www.sierratradingpost.com; no free shipping but a few size 12 leather knee boots that are fairly flat and under $100.

Quality and price often go hand in hand - but not always!  I wouldn't pay over a $100 for any footwear that was not leather.  But for fetish shoes - I'm a cheap date!  It's not like I really intend to wear them all that much.  I do have two pairs of nice leather boots that cost over $100 each - one pair of 4 inch stiletto 'Pirate' boots and one pair of thigh high flats.  I wear these to my conventions to go with my costumes.  I've had them for YEARS and am only just now considering replacing them.  I've replaced the heels on my pirate boots twice and they don't 'stand' exactly straight on one side.  The heel tends to lean over a bit.  Not very comfy.  And I tore the lining in the thigh highs so they are rather difficult to put on.  But after having and wearing them for DECADES - I'm actually rather emotionally attached to them.  I know that's kind of silly, but I had some VERY good times in those boots!

And have already found selections in my size (12) real leather, discounted down to two figures, and sometimes in the $20-30 range. Now happily choosing among optiions!

For low heeled, large sized shoes, you should check out Fetish Footwear Canada. They have a couple of brands organized by heel height. http://www.fetishfootwear.ca/index.html They generally range from size 5 to 16 USA.

For calves, take a peek at Pennangalan. They list calf circumfrance, boot height, ankle circumfrance and other useful info with a lot of their shoes. Unfortunately (for me anyway) they are based in the UK. http://www.pennangalan.co.uk/
