It seems that when third person is used correctly, it would not be noticed, therefore, it shouldn't be annoying. Continually using a slash between the same letters to differentiate orientations could be construed as insulting to those members of the population who are not deemed worthy of correct capitalization. Aside from such an inference, it is much more difficult to read but, generally, is not as hard to comprehend as poorly executed third person communication. For many content and comprehension trumps style. Then there are those posts which have neither content nor style, but that is probably fodder for another thread. This post brought to you in third person speech. ::grins::
