My sig line says: 'Plays Nice With O/others'.
 
It's from my all-time favorite sweatshirt, found in an art studio in Florida many moons ago.
 
(If Y/yr an old-time parochial school student, Y/you might remember those checkmarks W/we could get on O/our report cards.)
 
'Fails to Show Proper Respect for Clergy' was my favorite -- i always wanted to debate what amount of respect was, in fact due, LOL.
 
What's the story on Y/yr sig line?

I read it in a post softness made and it hit a nerve of (personal) truth. So, I stole it (giving proper credit, of course).
 
I liked it so much, it replaced "Two years owned and operated by Master".

mine, I came up with here on CM, if I am remembering correctly, it was a switch topic, and bitching about those who don't like/understand switches.  I had said it in response to someone, and thought, hey! this would make a great quote! And I still like it.

Although at first reading, my sig line seems to say that a woman should be silent.

But the line is from the Greek Tragedy Ajax, by Sophocles.

It is from a speech given by a  Tecmessa, the concubine of Ajax, who is recounting the words of master.  While she was attempting to calm him after he felt that he had been dishonored by the leaders of the Army that defeated Troy.

Rather than listen, he responded with the phrase.

For me it is a reminder that words of wisdom can come from anywhere, but we sometimes disregard it because of the source.

my first quote came about because a mad "dom" told me i was as ugly as godzilla after i turned him down.   it was a bit funny to me so i went with it.

I  just changed my sig line last night.  It used to say:

Proudly collared to IntenseMaster since April 30, 2006.  (obvious, self-explanatory)
Free spirited to all by nature, Dominant to some by choice, slave to my Master by design. (I am a free spirit, I don't always conform to the social norms just because someone feels that I should, and I try to be light-hearted.  Also reference to the fact that I am a switch, but am not dominant to any and every sub who wants me to be.  Finally, I am the slave that my Master wants me to be, but I may not be the slave someone else desires.  I'm a custom order gal.)  [:)]
Do not challenge me to a battle of wits and come to fight unarmed.  (This came from a post years ago where a complete asshat was battling everyone on an entire whole thread and wasn't backing up any of his statements with fact.  So, I shredded him on the boards, slapped him in the face with facts that tore all of his claims apart, used citations, etc.  He couldn't argue with facts that countered his claims, and he resorted to cussing me out and calling me names.  His posts were removed and he was banned from the boards from that moment on.  Once we realized what had happened, I wrote that sentence, it was my victory sentence.  I still use it today because most people just see me as being the giggly one who is silly and joking.  However, if it's a topic that flips my switch and I see inaccuracies in it, I will rip it to pieces and (as it's stated in litigation law) "demand strict proof thereof" of the claims made in such post.

Now, I have my Residency status, my battle wits statement, and the one that says I'm a natural green-eyed redhead.  (If you don't understand the last one - there is no hope for you, just make up your own reason for it.)

One more thing, for a nominal fee to cover materials, I am sure that I could conceal a taser in said rolling pin, then you could have all your friends come over and amuse themselves by abusing the idiot that broke in.....

lol, that's a good idea, i've also had suggestions of covering it in spikes too...but sadly, in the end it needs to be multifunctional in that.... i use it for baking so often. (get yer minds outta the gutter ya'all!).

i guess it wouldn't hurt to have a taser laden rolling pin and a bright pink streetweeper under my bed now would it?

Mine is pretty self explanatory I think. I get myself into enough trouble, don't need anyone's help! Someday maybe I will get a residency as well and then I can add that. And although we have had the collaring discussion, until it is official (soon I hope?) I won't add it to my sig line.

Asherdelampyr, i wouldn't give out the addy for my 'myspace' page, but i might for a different personal web site.  How do You put in more than one sig line?
 
Are there any Guidelines or TOS provisions to worry about if You include a web addy in Your sig line?
