I've been around the block more times than I care to admit..
and dated older, younger and same age in both men and women...

Basically I see it as this, the maturity level.
Some younger have a maturity level that surpasses older...

My advice is not to allow age to ruin what could be a great experience... (except of course the underage, cause then you'd be a statistic with all of those "Female teacher accused of molesting student" category that seems to be sweeping the nation)

After a lifetime of Older Men, I am trying to think Younger....and hey! I did a 40 year old this fall! But youger than 35? I can't get past the cultural differences.

Now, a younger WOMAN, oh yeah, I am all over the younger women....it's only the young guys that inspire the Mom Response. So I am trying to expand my horizons on a case-by-case basis. :)
