that everytime i answer a posting on CM and i fit all the requirments that are written i get the back that i am not what there looking for and i do not have a photo posted

You are not what they are looking for. Hang in there, there is someone out there that needs what you have to offer. I think it is worse when there in no reply at all. As for the photo, I am not sure I want to get to know anyone who is more interested in what you look like than who you are.

Possibly because the people you contact aren't really looking and just say they are. When they meet someone who's sincere, they get cold feet and run. Welcome to the internet. :)

If you're not what they're looking for, you're lucky to even get a reply. And, if you are what they're looking for, but, you don't have a photo, then you can send 'em a photo. Bear in mind, you're a guy so you have to realize it's a thousand times different than it is for a woman (believe me, I know as I've written ads for shy female friends on Craigslist, for example, and was utterly astounded by the astronomical number of responses as compared to a very similar ad for myself). As a guy, you'll just have to get used to (a LOT of) rejection and terse replies and just no responses. Shrug it off and move on. Someone is there for you. I think I wavered into a whole 'nuther topic altogether (come to think of it, I might start a thread on that to get to the bottom of the differences).

Just because you make it past the basic requirements does not mean you are what they are looking for. Nothing to take too personally. Just move onto another profile, be patient... sooner or later you'll find somebody.

Better start a journal. Your profile is a specification of you, not a person. Any reason why you do not have a photograph up?
