And you know how it is cj - the financial children in Wall Street and the City have been buggering it up for years (this time I blame greed; the wonderful Greedy is blameless) and now they've realised they should have left it to the grownups. Brighter chaps, wise with age and experience, have seen it coming for ages; and we see in front of us, laid out in the desert, the dead and dying and like vultures we glide smoothly, quietly, ruthlessly down from the mountaintops to peck out the helpless bastards' eyes. [Not the way I describe it to my business colleagues but in essence that's what it is and this is the anonymous place where one can tell it like it is!]
So we're into eye-pecking season and, fun though it is, it's tediously time-consuming.
(I never said I was a nice person  )

As to being a "nice uy", well, vultures serve a necessary purpose in nature too, yanno. One can't expect, when the dying are writhing in the desert, for a carnivore to become a vegetarian. The difference, as you point out, is that when a vulture is full, he stops consuming. I'm all for recycling.
