And we’re off! The last issue of The Dominant’s View for 2005 is available, and what a great issue it is.
Find out how the New Orleans kink community is managing after Katrina, and see just how great the kink community at large has been to help them out. The Leather Prof discusses public displays of dominance, and we get to hear how photographer Matt Meyers made out on a trip to California during the holiday season.
We have many photos to share with you this issue and they run to both end of the bondage scale. In our interview with Lorelei of Bedroombondage.com she talks about her fantasies and her websites and her thoughts on the War on Porn. She also sent in some great ravishment images. We have a website review for House of Gord with a large sampling of some of his far out contraptions and lots and lots of latex clad beauties. Geoff Ridgway sent in some of his computer generated art, that man has a scary imagination!
Our regulars appear as per usual with some controversial subjects that range from honesty in BDSM relationships to being annoyed by traveling submissives who decide pay visits to fem doms. There’s something in our regular columns for everybody this issue.
Ms Toy talks about her trip to the submissive side in Switch’s Corner, Sub Missives talks about why some submissives are afraid to use their safe words and we have a very good overview on Canes for those of you who are thinking about giving caning a try. Our Dom of the Month is Archer from Atlanta, Georgia.
This issue’s editorial is a bit of a rant by yours truly regarding the War on Porn and how it is affecting the BDSM community. There’s a bunch of links for you to check out if this current US policy concerns you (and it should). There’s also a list of websites who have self censored themselves or have been taken down by law enforcement. Things are getting a little scary out there folks!
