Alright folks,

When you have the gardens-a-growing the next step is the CM cook-offs and canning contests. [;)]

lol.. Vendaval... i will win the blue ribbons for sure!

Am planning on using some of my tomatoes to make sauces this year.. pizza sauce..but more important.. spaghetti sauce.. i found a way to turn juicy tomatoes..into the real deal.. add in my mixture of seasonings.. garlic, onion, italian herbs..and can it.

Then, for this "CM cookoff... i'd open some of my homemade canned sauce.. prepare a batch of fresh pasta, and then mix my~ to DIE FOR~ meatballs in.. a dash of olive oil... and mmm .. find a MAN to feed..lol

Did i mention that i have a strange fetish?... i just LOVEEEEEE ( in a very sexual way)... to watch a Man as He eats something i cooked for Him..lol... hehehe

I like to cook a nice meal and afterwards relax while one of my boys does the dishes.

Heres a grand idea...do what my family did...each of us has a massive Veggie garden going on in our backyards....if you dont have a backyard....try something out of the box..or in the box in this case...a tomato plant will bloom 3-5 time in a good size planter pot....a single corn stalk will be harvestable several times in a good size planter as well.

or just start giving blowjobs to a farmer....worked for the lady next door

Ok so my computer didnt load all of the second page....NARF moment...anyways...gardens and even the new little water and air based plant systems work great...i have strawberries in my kitchen and my own little veggie forest out back...some winter im screwed cuz of the snow and frozen ground but if anyone has any extra canning supplies im taking a donation...

canning for the short people...(me)

While having a huge get together/party/cookout/cookoff sounds good - how many would actually be able to show up that didn't already live in the area where it was planned?  I know *I would - I love that kinda thing as an excuse for a mini vacation - but a lot of the best cooks may also be the people who simply can't afford to do much traveling.

I've done Chili Cookoffs, Pasta Cookoffs, and Baking Cookoffs - and placed in all three types at various points in my past, just to see if I could.  Haven't (yet) tried entering a BBQ cookoff because those things are Soooooo ultra competitive out in this part of the country.  So are the Chili cookoffs here in Oklahoma and Texas, but my Chili I'm a lot more sure of than my Ribs lol!  (I have 3 recipes that I've tried in such and at least placed with - Nuclear Meltdown Chili con Carne, 7Cheese 3Meat 9Layer Lasagna, and SourCream BlackWalnut Rum Cake - all 3 of them come with various warning/disclaimers for your esophogus and intestines, especially the Chili LMAO)

Right now, I'm getting ready to start processing a crate of Stradford Peaches, since the early crop is in - jelly some of it, slice and freeze some, and puree/freeze some.  Gods I love my freezer...
