Remember that falling off the wagon is not a failure but an opportunity to learn.

You did not "blow it"...

Being healthy and feeling good is what you are striving for.

first, congrats on the new svelte you.

As for getting back on the dieting wagon, whenever you feel an urge to snack, go for a walk or get some other kind of exercise (yardwork, housework, etc) instead. I've found that unless I'm really starving, the exercise tends to curb my appetite and at least gets my mind off my belly..

Perhaps you fell off the wagon because you got on the wrong one?  You said you lost weight because you had a goal - to look good for a certain event.  Well now the event is over, that motivation and the pressure of a deadline is gone.

So do you need to find a different wagon? Perhaps go at it because you want more energy, because you want to be more comfortable in certain sexual positions, because you find yourself happier at a different size, whatever your personal reasons are, beyond looking good for one event.  It's almost as if you lost weight because someone else wanted you to, and personally, I have never met anyone in which that worked long term.

Just some thoughts from my uncaffeinated-morning-brain to ponder.

Cali
