If you want a specific board, but are too lazy to make one, post here and if someone is interested they might make one specifically for it. This seems a good way to guage if a board on the "Life and Times of Aaron Burr" is a popular topic or just your own thing. Multiple selections are OK, and if anyone does not believe "other" covers their interest please try to explain why it doesn't.[:)]

Let me kick off the complaints. You bastard, iwill, you did not iclude "chess". Although you put in "other" how could you have such a glaring omission and still be allowed to live. I can see checkers, monopoly, go, othello, and shogi being "other" but the game that has a larger percentage of the publishing market than all other board games combined? May the ghost of Alekhine take a drunken wizz in his pants over your grave. Note to moderators: I am iwillserveu. I have never succeded in insulting myself.[:)]

I didn't choose sports for I am the proverbial klutz, however, I love bowling. I guess it qualifies as a sport since you keep score and can get hot and sweaty doing it. But then, you can also play alone. I bowl twice a week in the fall and spring with other women and go to tournaments where I always wonder why the hell I'm wasting my money by being there. But I enjoy the game and the companionship of the other bowlers. We women have a good time.

I also love bowling, but my daughter is the good one with an average over 200. Tennis, skiing and basketball were my sports until i hurt my knee and switched to golf.

My "other" would be spirituality, theology is dry & boring, spirituality captures a wide range of belief systems. You might be surprised how many pagans & Wiccans are part of the lifestyle.

You didn't include a "Women's Interests" selection, iwill. I hardly think that should be relegated to the "other" category, and only listed alphabetically if it is absolutely necessary to keep the boys from whining. Otherwise it should be at the top of the list where it belongs. [;)]

LadyShoshin, Theology is not just Christian. Jews, Toaists, Buddhists, and Wiccanologists (OK, so tell me the right word[:)]) I figure would fit under there. I'd add spirituality but you mentioned "other". Aside: You'd be amazed at how few subs would not convert to be under your whip. Don't know how many of those conversions would be worth a damn, or curse, or whatever.[:)]

Two different threads, really. For example, Taoism deals in philosophy and spirituality. They dont disbelieve in God(dess) but it is not relevant to the study of Taoism. Sinergy

Who says art painting and house painting are in opposition???!!!!! Methinks they are/can be compatible. A thing of beauty is a joy forever, be it on a canvas or on bricks/wood/plaster walls (e.g. "installation art" or "conceptual art" or good old fashioned murals..... or good old fashioned house painting, for that matter). I thoroughly resent and protest the segregation, compartmentalization and narrow pigeon-hole definitions of the lofty, protean and multitudinous manifestations of Artistic Endeavor. Humph! [;)] And, "What Is Art" anyway?? [8\|] Seriously though, why not a broader "Visual Arts" section? If you include photography, maybe rain will come back.

I personally think there should be a category for all those who want to talk about nothing but sex and how it is their entire lifestyle experience. It seem's lately most of the new threads, really are not discussion questions. Just a mere yes or no could answer most. "is sex part of your relationship?" yes, no? To me, if people posted in a category like that. For those of us who are time challenged we could skip over the entire category rather than reading 50 different subjects in various categories.
