ORIGINAL: puppypauer Is there anything I can take out there to help increase my sex drive that anyone can think of? The biggest catch is that it has to be safe to take while breastfeeding as my infant son is only 4 months old. Thanks so much! puppy, the MD who discovers an effective aphrodisiac for W/women will probably win the Nobel Prise, LOL. My spam email is full of crap that supposed to enlarge penises or 'make women horney'. First, no new mom with a 4 month old baby is gonna be feeling like having hot crazy screaming monkey sex very often. At 4 months, yr baby has probably only been sleeping through the night about a month, if that -- and then he'll start teething. i'll tell you what works for me, and you can decide whether you have the time or energy to do any of these things. * daydream about sex -- whatever kind of sex you might want -- and try to imagine it in as much detail as possible. Try to reach a point where the daydream is like background noise that's on all the time. * read erotica or watch porn. i'm just not into watching, so i read. It doesn't have to be 'D/s' erotica; even a Harreliquin romance will do, if you don't mind the bad writing. * buy anything you can afford that makes you feel sexy. Even stockings and garters put ou in the mood if you can't afford a lot. If yr really broke, get out the stuff you already own; launder it, iron it -- and wear it. Since this is something yr doing for yrself, it doesn't really mattter whether A/anyone sees you in it. * remember to use yr perfume, make up and hair ornaments. Put some jewelry on, especially earrings. * if you can afford it, get a manicure & pedicure; buy some flips flops, a toe ring and an ankle bracelet. * fuss over yr bedroom a bit. Wash yr bedclothes; dust; etc. Get a pretty thrown to cover the nightstand. Buy a candle or a low light lamp. Add some pretty tassled rope tie backs for the bedroom drapes. * make eye contact with men in traffic and smile...most will smile back. * spend some time with one of yr girlfriends who is currently happy with her sex life; try and catch a vibe off her. You can expect big changes -- most likely for the better -- in yr libido once you stop breastfeeding and experience another big hormonal shift. Best wishes. pinkeeplum
