i am lucky in the aspect that i started looking later in life maybe. Also being from a smaller town and having to travel farther, i didn't have the ability to go into a frenzy.

i had a very good response to my profile, i talked to many many men, some real, some not, some just crazy and some down right scary.

i to get comments about how long i've been under consideration, but He and i both want to make sure. According to O/our contract, once i sign it, thats it. It will be pretty much the last choice i make.

I wonder how many actually see your dominant as a normal person rather then a demigod[/size]

From many of the posts here where it appears that submissives/slaves seem to abandon their own common sense, self-care and even morality (see the post on abortion), I must conclude that there are quite a few that view their dominants as demigods. In addition, they would argue that you just aren't as submissive as they are if you don't. <Just shaking my head>

and i thank you for when you point out when some of us newbies tend to do that same thing.

I was a total novice in frenzy for two weeks. I made ALL the classic newbie mistakes in those two weeks.

Then I woke up.

My difference is that I didn't then come to the list and wondering all "why did things go wrong?"

I knew what went wrong- I was in frenzy!

If i needed to view Master as a demigod, out relationship would have been doomed from day one. (its been 5 years - only part D/s - my issues not Hers)

Master is disabled due to an extream version of FibroMialgia (probly spelled wrong) this creates physical activity very tiring and means She is in permenent and severe pain. There are a few other troubles also by thats the worst.

This is far from a demigod, and infact brings Her very much down to the level of humble human being. In truth physicaly i am more capable then Master by far, but that is not why i serve.

Infact one of the main ways i serve Master is frequent massage to work out the knots that form in Her muscled over the nerve bundles when they missfire, this helps them reset and ease alot of the difficulty.

This lets me feel needed, valued, and i KNOW i am improving Masters quality of life. So no ones Master can be quite humble and human, as long as they have the emotional strength to shelter the submissive heart and the drive to command that compells us to serve thats good enough in my book.

A dom said something interesting to me the other day.

That when a 'good' submissive comes on these boards, they are either (his words) snatched up right away, or tend to stay single for a very very long time.

I found this interesting. I am one of the sloooooowwww dowwwwnnnnn people...

(well, except with one[:-])

but, I think if you take your time, you will have a much better chance of making the 'right' fit...not just 'a' fit...

If I may interchange "Demi-Goddess", No I don't see her as such, she as every human being has her faults. But I do let her believe I see her as such[;)][:D].
