Hmmmm, I used the "at" symbol and it comes out ****. Let me try this - Three watermelons @ $2.00 ea. = $6.00. Now if that one comes out ****, it may be an automatic process. Athough what I typed was in no way an email address, it was only text on either side. We'll see if the $ right after makes a difference. I've seen "Mod note, email.....removed", but that did not appear in my post. So since it wasn't maybe such a note is deemed unnecessary. It is so nice to have no spam, and a reasonable cloak of anonymity. Especially with some of the radical posts here, I mean we got a guy saying that people should not whine about gas prices. Anyone, member or not can read this forum, can you imagine if he posted that on a Usenet group, where his email address might be shown or obtainable ? I wouldn't wish that on anyone. As a result of CM's policies, we can post anything here. Anything. Unless something is illegal, like a threat or something the only spam we might get is from other members, and I have never gotten any. I've gotten a couple of Cmails from people expressing disdain for certain posts, but they were polite and made their point. Nothing to see here. Hehe, I think we are more of a secret society than Skull and Bones ! Hell almost everybody knows who is in that, doing their goat burning rituals or whatever. The only thing I see wrong with Cmail is the first time you mail someone it is going to be via their profile. That script does not process line feeds, like to seperate paragraphs. You have to do the __________ or the ................. thing. But once you are responding to a recieved Cmail that works correctly. I haven't tried [nbsp] ( those would be >, not ] ) to see if that works, but I would tend to doubt it. So if you want to email someone you have to Cmail them first. I kinda like it that way. T
