Last night while pleasing my Master I got very light headed and felt sick to my stomach.  We are new to this lifestyle and of me being a sub and he told me to go and look up sub space. Is this what I was feeling? It was all new to me and I was close to tears afterwards.

Everyone reacts differently… I have one friend who cries hysterically and another who laughs uncontrollably. Will have to say having someone burst into tears during a scene can be a little more than disconcerting.

You did not say how you were pleasing your master but subspace usually occurs with  pain play  for example during a impact play(flogging/whipping/paddling/caning) it is an altered sense of being  such as a floaty  sensation/ some feel like they are flying looking down at themselve  with ability to talk impaired rather than dizziness/nausea.... possibly you were experiencing  dehydration or had blood sugar drop/ some if they swallow too much cum may experience nausea ...with dizziness being part of the nausea

Subspace comes in many forms.  It doesn't have to be a floaty feeling and it doesn't have to come with just impact play.  Just last night, rather unexpectedly I hit subspace...and it came during a time when he wasn't even taking control.  It happened because a feeling overcame me.  I could talk just fine and didn't feel floaty.  I've had episodes of subspace where I completely lost my ability to speak a cohesive sentence and where I couldn't walk because I was dizzy.  I've gotten chilled to the bone in even the warmest of rooms and I've felt flushed and needed a cold glass of water.  So even one person may experience subspace in different manners, dependant upon the activities and the partner.

I've put people in subspace with simple words and with gentle loving touch as well as hard, fierce impact play.  I've done it with fire, with needles, fur and leather.  Everyone is different.

I believe you should keep in mind this feeling, and see if it happens again and under what conditions.  If the next time occurs within the same or similar realm, I'd say you hit subspace and congrats to you.  If it happens when you are watching tv, working, or doing something else, then I'd consider the health implications such as a drop in blood sugar or a change in blood pressure etc. and then you need to see your doc.  We can't help you with that here.

Never let anyone tell you that you didn't hit subspace simply because you didn't fit their paradigm of what they believe subspace (or domsapce for that matter) to be.

What you described is more what I would call an adrenaline rush, though some describe that as a subspace experience for them.

Did you actually do what he said and LOOK UP the term, or are you just posting and asking people to give you answers?

Maybe, maybe not.  I think it will take much more experience on your part to be able to tell for yourself - you're the only one who will know for sure.  As LA said - be sure you do what he said and look the term up - there are tons of threads on subspace here on CM and if you google it you'll find more.

My advice is to relax and enjoy and go with the feelings ... don't worry about labeling it.  You'll find you have tons of emotions and reactions to figure out, and in time, they will start to make sense to you.
