Cassie, you forgot the most important term defined in the bill, please look at the following: quote:
` (4) IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs. In case you havent figured it out, try the term THOUGHT CRIME. The bill was introduced earlier this year, by a california democrate who needed republican support for a pet project of his. This is just the latest of the so-called patriot acts, which established, among other things, secret courts that can issue search warrents that do not have to be given the people when their home or business is searched, hand down indictments without a grandjury, order suspects held indifinately while the invistigation continues. And as for a partial list of the 'subversive' and 'radical' groups that would be watched under this bill includes, the American Indian Movement, National Native American Congress, Intradenominational Group for Peace (a bunch of priests and preachers,) and a few other really dangerous people.... none of which have either condoned violence in 30+ years or never condoned violence.
