Is it just here -- the 'Mistake on the Lake'? Or is it happening all over?

For like 3 weeks now it's been so freaking hot i just can't stand it.

Every time i go outside i need a shower.

My car is like an oven.

i can't sleep without running that damned noisy A/C unit.

I HATE THIS!

i'm especially po'ed because it seems like i just got done shoveling freaking snow!

Okay, i vented...i feel better now.

that's what I do..
but it seems to freak out the neighbors when I go out to get the morning paper

We had a heatwave last week, prompting a mass-nekked-break-in at nearby swimming pool...

You KNOW it's hot when you jump in and the waters all... warm... blech.

our heat finally broke earlier this week and it was almost, i'm afraid to say it, cold. it's starting to creep back up though.

better to run a noisy a/c unit that to smell like a sweat sock by morning! we're running ours too. just went to the library with the kids, it was nice there.
