Yeah, I am sure it works for the moment. I don't imagine it will be long before one of those taggers decides to rip his expensive sprinkler system down. I had to go to juvie court when I was 12 for spray painting derogatory words about the principal on the side of the school. I got 3 months probation for that little stunt. Of course I had to avenge myself. So my buddies and I began a campaign of spray painting satanic symbols and planting flyers for black magic orgies all over the school. After that, we stepped back and allowed the hilarity to ensue. It was in the 80's, so you had all that Satanic panic hysteria going around. LOL. They were so concerned they called in an occult expert and had a huge PTA meeting about it. They were calling in every kid that wore metal t-shirts and interrogating them. They even had the police looking into it. OMG, sprinklers wouldn't have stopped me from that stroke of genius.

Sue for what, Sanity? It gets cold enough to freeze there maybe one night every three years, nobody is going to fall on the ice. The presentation here is that it gets the tagger wet, so he goes away. It has a great "Fuck me? No. Fuck you!" factor to it. But that isn't why it works. The wet perpetrator is just a side benefit. If that was all it did, one of those punks would have put on a leaf bag and hat within two days. You can't paint in the rain.
