i grew up in a military household in which perfectionism was required ...and it seems i've inherently passed this trait to my ums. however i'm trying to break that habit though it's a gradual process.

oh lord i'm all over that one too. both of my parents were navy. it's led to some interesting personality quirks, not all of them bad, just interesting. like i was taught that you can anything assuming you stick 'sir' on the end...has led to some interesting situations.
