Foreign anyone is usually quite a hassle, but if they are really interested in putting in the work necessary to make the transition then they might be viable. If they want you to help them with a fare somewhere, then by all means do so, however have them send you their part and then you make the arrangements. If you are really helping them, and they actualy have the money, they shouldnt have a problem with that, or they will object on the same grounds you would to sending it to them. Make sure they know what paperwork needs to be filed, and they are starting the filing as soon as things work out. Be sure they can make their own way when they get here, and will not be dependant on you for things for more than a few weeks while they transition into a new waiting job. Aside form the paperwork delay, though, this sounds strangely like the advice I give people who are looking at keeping a slave form another state. DV
