I have used Sundew for years, I have no idea exactly how long. As I am a great believer in herbal medicines and I enjoy sunlight, this seemed the perfect name for me. I personally don't care for sn that are dark and gloomy.
The Sundew is a plant that invites the unwarry into its trap. The sticky substance the leaves produce look like dewdrops in the sunlight. Once the insect lands most are stuck and cannot get away. "Come into my palor said the spider to the fly, laughing.
The plant is carnivorous, and lives in acid soil. As the many acid comments I have received over the years for being an assertive, most would call me aggressive, female. Well to be honest here, bitch. And they receive a wide smile when I heard them.
It also has healing properties, used to help the user breath easier. So the name suits me. I enjoy watching males that come to me sigh and relax, "breath easier" in my house. I too more than likely have given TMI. laughing, but there you have it. Me. Sundew
