But mike... I will never forget the man I loved very deeply, but didn't have those in love... or infatuation type feelings for! The depth of my love wasn't any less than the in love feelings... there just wasn't that there, but that didn't diminish the joy I had with him! It could have lasted forever and I often wish it had! It doesn't always mean good bye. lol It isn't like, I think of you like a brother! lol Not every time anyway!

i used to think this was the biggest piece of crap i'd ever heard.....Until one day, when i was in a relationship with someone who had shown me things about myself. Damn it though!!!! Writing this out i was going to list tons of examples of things i learned from him and from that relationship. Although, i'll be damned if i can think of one thing now.....i do remember vividly though, being so confused by the fact that i believed i loved him. But, i came to believe that our relationship was just not healthy for me. It didn't mean i loved him any less, for me it just meant that i needed to learn how to not be in love with him anymore.
