This may seem very trivial when compared to Sapir-Whorf discussions, but I had a epiphany and wanted to share it. I have very recently gotten my third tattoo; I also have threep piercings. As I was writing in my journal about my latest tattoo experience, it occured to me that I have gotten all my tattoos and piercings while not in a S&M relationship. slaps her forehead Duh...I am fulfilling my endorphin need with these things. While this is okay with me, it occured to me that I could become covered in body modifications very easily. Is there a twelve step program for endorphin junkies? LOL

Probably the same program for Adrenaline Junkies.. Man what a high you get and there is no pain till after.

I am essentially not an endorphin producer, and am avidly planning my next tattoo...... and maybe I will try try again for another navel piercing (WHY can't I keep them??). What's my reasoning? Until you ask them to pierce you as slowly as possible, I wouldn't worry. And Calli, I know your excuse! <G> :)Francine

One tattoo is too many and two tattoos aren't enough. Same goes with percings.
