I was in communications and handled international communications for the Centre, including Russia and Antarctica. Handled classified comms between centres and the military as well along with operating certain equipment. (TWX, telex, Western Union, some other systems we had, blah, blah, blah....) It was fun, speaking with the scientists all over the world.

I used to own a house in Detroit that was kinda’ wild…  it had an awe inspiring effect on people.  Besides the “dangerous pet’ (my slave tamara) I had a variety of poisonous pets and weapons (including a 15 foot snake).  More in my blog

I was in a medical journal!  I was the lab rat for some kind of orthognathic doohickey for modelling facial reconstructions.  (this was pre 3D imaging, in the day when monochrome monitors were hot shit)

Whew!  Took some doing to remember that one!

i got something for you...

at 4 years old i was a famous child...all the dr's wanted to get a look at how this freak survived a surgery that was not well known back then.  it was 1974.  i was one of the first patients with tetralogy of fallot.  at the time a rare condition which usually resulted in death due to all the things that are in error with it.  at 14 i was given a 20 yr life span..meaning not to live past 20...this was after my 4th surgery. all the surgerys done at sick kids toronto.  famous for heart patients.  until your 18 then they kick you out...
