Personal Services - a British "Comedy" - Featuring the life of Cynthia Payne
That is very interesting as well. A beautifully crafted film, so that whilst it does handle some very hot topics, it does them with slight humour but not in a negative way

There is also a documentary from New Zealand called:
Pleasure Bound - I know this is available via the internet - this deals sole with the Mistress/submissive relationships

Status: offline 		I am glad this subject came up. I went with a boy last night to an adult store looking for DVDs. I have been in tthe lifestyle a long time but really never cared about this....but out of curiosity I went a lookin'... I did not find any Female Dom /male sub dvds. There were so many Male Dom / female sub and Female Dom / female sub flicks.

I absolutely LOVE Gosford Park. There are many vanilla films with servants that would set a good example, for what I like. Those set in at the turn of the century and before are good examples.

Are you looking for porn then?

If so, I would not suggest that as a way to further your knowledge on Femdom/malesub dynamics, as your original posting implies.

I have yet to see any F/m porn that is the least bit realistic.

Rather, hit the books - there are a ton of decent books about the lifestyle out there. Yes. Reading requires a longer attention span than watching a porn movie. But then, if you are looking for a lifestyle as opposed to an occasional evening, isn't it worth a little investment of time?

Status: offline 		There was a movie put out years ago, "Exit To Eden" based on Anne Rices book of the same name. It's about a BDSM "pleasure" island. I found it amusing and it shows some of what BDSM can be where your usual porn movies don't.

I see David has another fetish movie available.. Pandemonium , haven't seen it so can't comment.

Another vid, lighthearted, is Preaching to the Perverted, an English comedy about a government employee sent in to uncover the seedy world of alt sexers, but falls for the gorgeous dominatrix. A fave movie of mine.

Status: offline 		There a movie from France that I highly recommend called "Maitresse" directed by Barbet Schroeder. Supposedly the actrice, Bulle Ogier, who played in the movie was a real Mistress. And you will recognize Gerard Depardieu in his youth. It's a more intimate glimpse behind the life of a professional Domme.

My version of the film, part of the Criterion Collection, includes a recent interview with the director who, among other things, talks about how he collaborated on the film with a Domme who brought her slaves for his use without them even knowing that they were going to be part of a film. She, in fact, did a lot of the "technical" work in the film.
