So someone cannot recommend to someone else who is showing abhorrent and extremely erratic behavior that they seek out psychotherapy? Even if they are trying to be helpful ?

phoenix, candystripper is an old nick I revived to try and avoid confusion to the members and whatever problem had caused pinkieplum to disappear. I'm a bit conflicted about candystripper; my Dom Friends all like it very much but it has no 'pink' in it. Still, I suppose I can live with it.

BTW, I'm terribly fond of the handcuffs and get anxious when I see the fourth one added; I know I'm about to lose them. I've asked nicely if I could please just have handcuffs, but apparently it's not possible.

*Sighs*.

Gawd, CD, are You deluded? What powers do You possess that enable You to pyshcoanalyse someone on the boards whom You have never even emailed?

Not to drag this out, but pink20nails was hacked by a bad man I encountered, who gave me fits in many ways for a long time. When I post about 'net security, I know whereof I speak.

Shyster was my nick back when CM still had TheLobby for chat. I got tired of people asking me for legal advice, so I changed it.

Fillepink was a gift from friends, but it confused people who didn't know what 'fille' meant.

Gheesh, what else? Some nicks were poorly-chosen and didn't last long...Hispinkpleasures was one of those, and frankly so was pinksugarsub. Pinkieplum might have been okay but it was unexpectedly deleted somehow.

In the past, my Dom Friends all seemed fondest of candystripper, so I revived it and will probably remain this way, unless the want/need for a 'pink' nick becomes irresitable.

For sure I'm not gonna mess with it again for awhile; not till I'm feeling more secure about my pc and ISP.

Now, I think I've politely answered everyone's questions, even the nosey ones, so if anyone has a burning desire to continue this convo, please email me on the other side.

Hoping it continues ...some of your longer posts had me going cross -eyed or giving up trying to read.

Not meaning to be rude ... but instead of making a formal announcement of a name change , wouldn't it be easier and result in less comments if you had just put something like "formerly pinkieplum" in your signature...I have noted this is what most others do when they decide on a name change or if their former profile ends up in never never land rather posting and announcement

Another point which I hope you do not take the wrong way because in no way meant to be mean spirited....but after seeing the radical changes you made in the last month and having just seen the list of different names you have used ...it could be possibly signs that you may not be very contented with your life and or who you are and are having troubles learning to love yourself therefore you feel the need to keep re inventing yourself inorder to try and find happiness ...heck shit in life happens sometimes thru no fault of your own which rips out chunks of your self esteem and self confidence to the point where the become very dissatisfied and no longer love yourself which can result in depression as well ...when one is continually making major changes to their identity it can be a warning sign they may be having troubles coping and loving themselves and it may be time for them to get some outside help to get them back on track. Not saying this is the case but something you may want to consider..there has been a few things you mentioned in various posts that indicate you have taken some big punches in life that have the possibility of eroding self confidence and self esteem.

My guess is she didnt want to revive pinkieplum because of the reception, and thought the new no slashy speak would help, (which I'm sure it will). All she would have had to done was start the account back up as a new account.
