Im quite interested in thoughts on Sissy play in public, I adore being dressed as a Sissy Boi in public and my Mistress enjoys this greatly also, from a humiliation aspect it send me into subspace and for her she enjoys the control of my dress and clothing. The issue is I am dressed generally as a teenage girl in cute clothes, nothing offensive, but I have no makeup or wig so it is clear I am a male in girls clothes.

The humiliation is satisifed by the fact that I dress in teenage girls clothes so lots of pinks and such, I am then asked to go to shopping places and other areas where I will be seen, most times alone or with her watching.

So do you think this is in polite to vanilla folks or acceptable in todays modern world? I have not had any problems so far, just laughter and looks, which is of course the point for us both.

Where, exactly, are you dressing so in today's modern world? On Folsom Street in San Francisco, you needn't worry about seeming impolite. On Main Street in Alpharetta, Georgia, being rude is the least of your worries.

I think if your play gets a visable, negative reaction from other people--then no--it's not polite and I(personally) don't think it's acceptable. My Owner and I have done public bondage pictures in a relatively busy park before. We weren't all over one another and we were pretty professional with what we were doing, so nobody said anything nor did we get a negative reaction of any kind. If somebody had asked us to stop, then we would have stopped.

I have no interest in making other people uncomfortable, and if it does ever happen I will apologize and cease any such behavior. I'm not naive enough to believe that everybody will accept and be tolerant of how I behave. I don't -expect- it either. I honestly don't think people should have to wilingly except everything that they see, especially if it makes them uncomfortable. I think it's important to reconcile with the fact that people aren't always going to see things the same way as you do, and I also think you shouldn't get upset when it does happen.

I have to say that I agree with you. There is a time and a place for everything. I know I would not care to be a part of something that caused anyone undue distress.

I know many who run outside of the vanilla world feel that being visible is a key thing, but really, a grown male mincing around the mall dressed like Miley Cyrus is not going to be read as a political statement or a way to educate the public on BDSM or transgender life.

It's really just going to brand you a horse's patoot....

I don't mean to sound overly critical of the OP. I in fact applaud you OP on finding a relationship that sounds fulfilling to both you and your partner, but please, confine your sexual play to the privacy of your home or other appropriate venues. It would just be showing sensitivity to everyone out for the day and it really won't hurt you to abstain for the short time you are out.

I remember once a discussion with a gay friend. He lamented that there are so few openly gay teachers visible in the classrooms of America's schools due to hidebound old biddys, and the religous right etc.

To his shock, I remarked that I personally agreed with the lack of visibility. I told him that I do not want out gay teachers in the school and I matter of fact don't want any out heterosexuals there either! I can't imagine why there should be any teacher talking about being gay, or straight, with the students. I want our teachers to teach, not discuss their sex lives with the kids......
