History Channel Explores Torture and Punishment 100s of Years Ago

Just got home and it was on, and freaking cat-o-nine tails smacking into a side of meat that fell apart, went into the history of cat-o-nine tails being used on ships with a crowd watching while drums would beat throughout the 800 lashings on the victim just wrists bound around the mast, some guy during the witch hunts getting crushed alive slowing by guys carrying huge boulders and placing it one-by-one on the guy lying down on a platform until he was completely crushed! C@@L!!! still 10 more minutes left! ?!

yeah it's a great series for the folks around here...cuz thier floggers really work and aren't soft...I havne't watched it yet, just put it on the dvr to watch with breakfast. all of the vendors around here should pool thier money and make one entry-website gateway to thier private sites and buy an ad on the show.

and chickpea, I gotta disagree with your sig. not from the political angle, but sayign someone should have quit cuz they lost anyhow....well by that logic the landmass of the united states should still belong to them that got here first because Roanoke and some of the first spanish settlements didn't endure. greatness does not come with the outcome but with the endevor itself.

w00t! i just learned about the show from another thread on here, and was watching it for the first time last night... Yum! i've always been fascinated by primitive torture devices.

The guy they referred to as Kermit is definitely kinky

Besides the Comedy Channel,this is my favorite channel.

They do a good job and make history interesting without mis-information.

When you consider that Bush`s favorite torture,water-boarding,was developed and refined was back then,you can see how some things never change.

As far as the BDSM cross-overs with real torture go,I couldn`t help but think that the Abu Ghraib prison guys(and girl,he-he) were into kinky BDSM stuff.Or maybe they were "ordered" to do it.

The naked guys on all fours being lead around on dog leashes.

The naked "pile-ups" and naked pyramids and other humiliation games.

Tying people up and in stress positions, and leaving them there for days.Kinky....

Making guys wear women`s underwear! LOL Where did these guys(and girl,lol) get this stuff?!?? LOL OMG, ladies underwear! LOL

Of course,there was the real thing there, too.Finger nails peeled off,beatings,dosed w/ water and frozen,watching family members being tortured ,mock executions ,torturing guys to death and rape.

Just like in the old times.

I`m so glad the real torture isn`t legal,lol.
