Depends on the day. Sometimes it is simple entertainment, sometimes something more substancial. Whether or not I find what I am looking for, depends on the day.

I regularly read the off topic section and I am very impressed with the general level of intelligence of most who post here. Whether I agree with what is said or not is neither here nor there. I dont expect anything other than the opportunity to be exposed to a wide cross section of views.

Entertainment is good, but making new friends is nice too. Besides, thanks to my MS i'm an insomniac and this is a place i can always guarantee i'll find someone to chat with (and usually upset for some reason - must be my Aussie sense of humour or something)

I started posting and reading the forums regularly after a bad breakup. It helped me get my mind off of things, and it gave me something to do when I was bored. I've met a lot of people here, and I enjoy reading the viewpoints of others. Now it's just a pleasant diversion from my daily routine. As others have said, it's entertainment.
