sorry - no.  In fact I'm a bit squicky about fingernails and toenails in general (I know, I'm strange...)

I don't like my own nails long, partly because I'm worried that I might be happily picking my nose one day and poke too hard and squish my brain.

I keep my nails long, I always have i always will.  i love long nails on me and on others as long as they are clean :)  and not all banged up or what have you.
I love painted nails and manicured nails :)   However not very big on fake nails especially the really long ones.    :)
mmmm someone running their nails down my back will make me purr :D

Well I guess depends on the view of men and women for this.   For me I don't really like long nails on males (whether they are born that way or not physically)   But do like them on females (born that way or not physically)  I guess I just generally assumed the topic was for females and those that identify as such :P

I personally like my nails long, very long if I can. No fake nails here. Painted sometimes. I don't typically touch my toenails.

I have had my nails done since 1996.   Due to the economy and the type work I do, I had to take them down.   It is my way of protesting this economic crisis we are in.  Until we have new leadership, they are staying down.

i wouldn't say they're a fetish, but i do like like the look of long, painted fingernails on women... Doen't matter if they're real or not, as long as they're not curly or gaudy bling-bling nails.

Uh .... quite a unique form of protest, I think.

I love long clean natural nails on a woman. I keep mine either nude (not often with all this construction we've been doing) or painted to protect them.

if i could grow my own nails long, i would...but they shatter, even when i'm a good girl and take my vitamins and hair/skin/nails suppliments.

so i have acrylics kept at a reasonable length and painted demure ladylike colors, as TheEngineer requests.  my toenails, however, are deep blue at the moment.

Given the type of work that i do, it is almost impossible to keep long nails. (ok, well I suppose with alittle more work, I could........) they are always cracking,or hang nail, ***ouch***!!! and I hate the feel of filing. (to me it is like fingernails across a blackboard!) I do regularly use this set that i bought from a stand at the mall, (etre, the e has an aposterphe at the end. they don't seem to have a website tho.) makes my nails look nice.  And recently got cuticle cream at Bath and Body Works, (Gods I love that store! could easily spend a few thousand there, if I had it!) Also bought several foot care stuff, and have been spoiling my feet. (I am on my feet all day, and for the longest time didn't do much to my feet, so, thier due.)

speaking of work, gotta get ready to go in.

How long, bottombee?

I have used various lengths when I had acrylic nails; most all were 'longish'.  My old stylist used to have the nails uncut; they were about 4 - 5 inches long.  Seemed like it'd be a problem opening car doors, but she claimed she got along fine.

I did speak to one Dom who wanted me to have 4 -5 inch long toe nails.  Takes all kinds, I guess.

Try a small cup of yoghurt 5 days a week for a few months - it may surprise you Hair & nails seems to take a long time to effect so you won't see immediate results.

I somehow have awesome nails. They naturally grow with perfect shaping, a tapered oval. They also grow very quickly, every 10 days I cut them off then boom & they're back. I don't even own an emery board, just clippers.
It isn't a matter of calcium with me, or yogurt or jello. Just genetics.

When dry they are very hard, when soaked I can actually bend them backwards without breaking.

I can remember a friends mom when I was a kid. She was a serious nail polish user and her fingernails ended up disgusting. Sort of yellowed and very soft. Yuck. I have no idea if it is related to using polish though.

I am so happy with my nails right now... I love them too much to bite them! I got this vain about them because working food service for two years deprived me of pretty hands... now that I don't have to wash dishes for hours at a time, I've grown them out about a half inch. I'll fie my nails to keep them oval-shaped while Alpha and I watch movies at night. Sometimes he gets annoyed with the sound, but I remind him how much he likes seeing pretty nails on pretty fingers wrapped around his man-parts.

I never cared for fingernails to be long. I just like for them to be sharp, buffed, and strong. I like the feel of fingernails more than I do seeing them and noticing there length.

I prefer a clean, well groomed look to long and high maintenance in the finger nail department.  Mostly it is just a matter of practicality and economics.
