But what is sane to you will not be sane to others.

RP...
Camping...
Buddism...
Enemas...
New Age Music...
Objectification...
Hunting...

They may be exciting to you... insane to someone else...

Peace and Love

*Nods*

Folks who like camping? Crazy in my book, hands down.

Of course there is. In order for someone to dominate me I have to believe that he has my best interest at heart. Any Dom who would ask me to go against my moral or ethical beliefs is not someone who would have my best interests at heart. Futhermore, I am very picky when it comes to choosing someone to submit to. Just because someome goes by the title of sub or slave doesn't mean that all common sense and any sense of right and wrong goes out the window. What is that saying....just because you can do something doesnt mean you should.

i'm not really sure how to answer this one...i know that when i go to my Owner in the beginning of next year, She will be reprogramming many of my desires to suit Her...is it possible that She will take away any ability to refuse an Order...yes, and that is quite alright with me...

As things are right now, there is no way i would have relations with children, nor would i involve a third party against their will...nothing that could end up with me in jail.

Of course, if asked again next spring, who knows what i'd say.

To say that you are *unable* to refuse an order is shirking personal responsibility. One is always *able* to refuse an order. It's not cut-and-dried simple, but there is always an out.

I was asked why I used these as examples - and so I am just replying here also

I took words to explain that what is sane to yourself isn't necessarily sane to someone else. Therefore your thoughts on sane are not anothers. Consensuality is the only relevant concern to everyone. Sane is only relevant to all of us individually, but subjective and therefore discussing the aspects of SSC does not always assist. A objectivist would find buddhism not sane. An atheist or and agnostic would believe a christian or religion insane. A claustrophobic would find bondage or cages insane. Its all subjective. Safe and Sane are individual traits and what is safe or sane to one is not to another. Stiching a wound would be insane and not very safe to do if untrained - in a surgeons hands it would be nothing more than artistry.

Consensuality means one thing - consent is given freely.

RACK (Risk Aware Consensual Kink) is more descriptive a way of explaining wiitwd - IMO.
This in no way is anyone telling YOU how to confirm your kink, its my personal thoughts and how I wish to live. Its not for all. I merely explain and place over another view which you may or maynot agree with. I hope that explains more.

Peace and Love

Not sure if the response was directed at me, angel, but just in case I was misunderstood, I wanted to say I agree with you.

SSC sounds nice, but in the grand scheme of things, it's much too subjective a concept to be used universally. RACK is better,IMO, if we're looking for an acronym to apply across the board. but in WIITWD, being that YKINMK(or is it YKIOMKIO?), we just stick with WWFU - What Works For Us

And I still think campers are crazy.

Yikes... sorry no luvdragon - my mistake...

Someone contacted me off board and asked me why I used those as examples
quote:

(RP...
Camping... Buddism... Enemas... New Age Music... Objectification... Hunting...)
and I thought it would be good for me to explain as I can see why my single statement may not have made much sense...

LoL... I thought I had hightlighted my list and obviously I hadnt and instead, I linked it to Your response...
My Bad...
I totally understood you were in a similar thought zone.

All I can say about camping is WTF? IMO... it is totally OTT and people must be OOTM!

Peace and Rapture

as someone else said as long as it's within my stated limits anything my Domina or Mistress wishes is my command. so as long as it doesn't involve scat(rimming is OK), vomit, or permanent marks my body is Her canvas

The short time I have been a sub, I have learned that my Master would never put me in harms way intentionally. He would never ask of me anything that would be permanently damaging. That said, No there isnt anything I wouldnt do for my Master. I trust him with all of my heart.
That said, not all relationships are like that. Do you trust him or not?
