Do any Dommes practice needle play,i would like to know what type of needles that you use and where you can get them.

in the top three on my list... I do as much of it as I possibly can.. just got invited to do a demo in the fall at an event... grin I get my needles through a friend, but you can google and find stuff.. I tend to use all different sizes, but I use 22 gauge the most I would guess...

i had my first experience with it a month ago. it had always been something that terrified me but we had a play party and one of the Master's attending put on a 'clinic' to teach others, and i was 'volunteered' as the practice dummy. i ended up with a 70 needle (18 gauge) ribbonned corset on my back and, not only did it look beautiful, i discovered how much i loved it. i was off into subspace before half a dozen needles had gone in and the rest of the time was just bliss. Over here (Australia) we just order it from any one of a number of medical supply places - there are no restrictions on their purchase here

grin very nice... I don't think there are many restrictions here either.. I just happen to have a friend who calls when she orders a case or two and we do a lot of trading and mixing and matching...

I too adore needleplay. It's a quick and easy way to send someone soaring fast. And it's a heck of a lot less "work" than swinging a pair of floggers. ;) I ordered my needles online in several sizes, 18g. and 22g mostly, all in the 1.5 inch range. A full box of needles will last you quite a while. Some online companies require some sort of documentation, others will sell to anyone who sends the money. Miss 'Bella

Hmmmmmmmmm needles, If you have a friend that works for a Veterninary. Then perhaps they could pick up a couple of boxes for you at cost depending on what size gauge you want. Your local stock shop should carry them.There are alot of on line places you can order them from.

Random Nugget of Info: Play piercing needles(usually Hypodermic or other medical type needles): the Guage is measured on the INSIDE Diameter. Body Modification Piercing needle: the Guage is measured on the outside diameter. so a 20g BMP needle theoretically will fit inside a 20g PP needle. (depending on the tolerances of the needles themselves...it would be a mighty tight fit) but if you are going for larger piercings...even play piercings definitely go with a high quality BMP needle (especially with a double or triple bevel point...it makes them sharper and able to pierce easier. If you don't mind someone asking what they are for and making you sign a book, go to a vet supply store for the cheepest ones. Many people say they are for giving their dogs shots and no one bats an eye. What you probably want to start with are the 22 guage (pretty small) 1 1/2 in needle tips. You can also order these for a bit more $ online. If you buy in bulk, the price drops quickly. I like that they often come in boxes of 100. Nothing says fun like "I've got a box of 100 needles with your name on it"

ohhh and while I'm thinking of it, also get from your med supply: the little individually wrapped alcohol wipies a little sharps container And from your partner (unless it is yourself) 6 months ago and within the last 30 days: AIDs, Hep (oh and while you're at it, why not do the rest of the STD family). Have fun.
