The '1944' GI Bill Of Rights...for returning WWII vets.Many say is was part of what created the huge middle class we enjoy(and are losing) today.

Reintroduced by Democratic Sen. Jim Webb(and apposed by McCain),this bill gives our vets basically the same deal WWII vets got.
I find it interesting that Bush praised McCain at the signing of the bill,when McCain apposed it.Hey,but that`s politics....very funny stuff.
McCain skipped out on the vote.Not even man enough to vote his conscience, after speaking out against this bill up till now.

I though GWB was going to veto the bill? I guess he saw the light. Too bad McCain didn't.
