yes

seriously, there are a lot of Dommes on here who have pets and more than a few who have replicants, and we've had posts about the girly things we do (hobbies like knitting and cross-stitching popped up more than once).  I read ... a lot.  And Holly and I both play runescape.  I believe there are quite a few who play WoW, or other games.  Basically, we're people, just like you and everyone else - we have varied interests just like everyone else.

When I'm not at a scene event or party, I go to a lot of performing arts and museums and galleries, I collect art (the little I can afford, anyway), I hang out with friends at restaurants and nightclubs, I read a lot of books, I go hiking, tubing, rafting, canoeing....and then I take a lot of naps because all those things wipe me out!

I run a small retail business.  Not big enough to make me rich, but enough to keep me comfortable and fulfilled.

I'm a big movie buff.  I enjoy mostly SciFi, Fantasy and Horror both on screen and in print. I am also a Master Class costumer.  Because I have so many costumes and props, as well as the ability to make more, I help out a local theater doing promotions in return for all the free movies I want to see.  It's a win/win.

My family and friends are VERY big into Halloween and we do a huge yard display that is more like a free haunted house for the neighbors.  A large number of my 'toys' are overlooked as 'haunt props' and 'costume parts' when vanilla friends visit... they think nothing of floggers and canes in the living room because they are lying around with so many other projects, it's hard to tell where one is finished and the next one starts.

And I'm a total slob.  I really need to take on some local slaves and maids to clean this joint up.  Any volunteers?

I read, sew, needlework, I like to travel.. anything to do with water. I love tennis and football.. Cook and a play some games. Socialize with friends and family. My newest hobby is preserving. I made some rockin pickles for my first time try. Flea markets, estate sales and farmers markets is a great day out for me. I also enjoy a good resturant, a play/movie and if I could get my jock of a hubby to go the ballet. We occassionally get out to a art exhibit or a museum event but for me thats more like work than pleasure.

I also play an online game, EQ2. Although I'm taking a break as it's a complete time hog. I also do a lot of art/craft activities, work on decorating projects, enjoy cooking or puttering in the kitchen, reading, writing, sometimes odd bits of research on things that fascinate me, the stock market, hanging out with my kids, shopping and television. To name a few...

I'm a stay at home mother. What free time?  When I'm not being Mommy or Mistress/life partner, I'm hanging out online, here or my LJ (aka "where all my friends and I keep in touch"). On rare occasions, I find time to read.

Work, okay so I hold an imaginary crop at work also........bad example. Do alot of riding (horses) less crop there. Work with behaviourally challenged dogs through the local shelters, guess there are leashes and collars involved there..... Hmmmm.

Gardening, cooking, hiking, photography, various art projects, writing, hanging with the grands and occasionally the parents of the grands. Naps are wonderful. The never ending project of finishing my house (yeahhhhhhh I finally have my soaking tub, booooooo it is currently sitting on the patio waiting to be installed )

Just keeping busy living life.

Depends on the season.

I'm trying to lose weight so I can stop taking diabetes meds.  So, I work out at the gym three times a week.  During the weekends, in the summer, I do a bit of hiking, or swimming, or rafting, anything in the water when its warm.  I took up frisbee again, and my game is improving.  Batting practice is something I have fun with and I enjoy driving ranges (golf).  I miss the rollercoasters from the theme parks back east, the ones here in Oregon are pretty lame.

During the fall, I knit, go to trips to the mountains, read, people watch down at Portland's Living Room (an outdoor area where a lot of people congregate), harvest veggies from the garden, do puzzles, and I plan on adding an extra gym day for the fall and winter so the holiday foods don't hinder the progress I've made thus far.

Winter time I take trips to the mountains, this year I plan on giving snowboarding a try, I've always wanted to do it, but in past years I didn't have mountains nearby or my health wasn't as good as it is now.  So this year I'm gonna fall on my ass quite a bit .

Spring, well, I start planting the new plants, start hiking again, and this coming spring (09) I plan to buy a bicycle to help save on gas costs.

All seasons I play some games at Pogo, watch some tv, and the obvious chores that need tending.  I'm sure I've neglected many of my hobbies.

I read, write, run discussion groups on spirituality (not religion -- completely pan-doctrinal) in multiple aspects of life (yup, even one for BDSMers). I enjoy cross-stitch, crochet, and sewing, though I don't have a lot of time for it. I also plant container gardens, can, am a gourmet cook, and run a listserv for raw milk/raw food folks and local farmers near our city.

For me , its mainly taking photos (in which I am occasionally holding the crop for) and reading. We do a lot of reading.
I am learning (slowly) to play computer-based video games so Angel and I can spending time doing what he loves. I have laready learned a few of Fox's console based games so I can play with him.
We go hiking and on other adventures, spelunking, canoeing and the like.
We have plans to go fishing with Fox's family assuming we ever remember to get our licenses.
I also write, we watch movies and we play board games.

Hell with all of that I am surprised I have time to hold the crop!

I knit, bead, absorb the wonderfulness of my grey parrot, read, collect asian ball jointed dolls, take naps...   It's a full life.  I do ceramics once a week, too, as my night out with my friends.  Playing in the mud is fun!

Someone could always look at my website to get a starter idea of what all I do... let's just say that much of the time it is so much that I feel tired.

I'm one of those people with too many hobbies, because I like to change up a lot depending on mood...  Reading fiction and non, doing my hair and nails, learning web design, playing World of Warcraft, doing renovations on my house and yard, drawing and painting (and sometimes sculpting), filing and organizing things, geocaching, studying something(s) for fun (falls in with my reading: I enjoy math, medicine/health, and languages, mostly), hiking/camping, making bath goods, and a bunch else.

Basically, I'm a geek with a lot of geeky interests.

I build a haunted house!*Is annoyed because the architect left the air powered paint thing in California again this year*
School, gym, volunteering, and my parents dog take up a lot of time...

I've got that whole normal person complex going on....besides, leather chafes if I run around beating people 24/7. I'm trying for my true domme card next year. (Do they make true switch cards?)

Read, garden, horseback riding, scuba, work on property, play with pets, listen to music, sing badly, watch movies, swim.  Live my life, just like anyone else does.

Is this question because of all the idiotic or inexperienced people who put only kink on their profiles?  Or do you have some interesting reason for this question?

Cross stitch, crochet, knit, scrapbook, hike, take walks, pet my pet silkie chickens, go to school, whenever the wonderful opportunity arrises I go see pet! yay!!! 4 more days till I see him again, shop, talk on the phone, surf the net, shop some more, read, go to church, sing, plan for torturous things to do next time I'm with pet, journal, write poetry when depressed or happy, spend time with my mom just cracking eachother up, etc. I just like to do whatever I can when I have the time to do it.

I'm guessing (holding) an ear of corn.

Is that wrong?

Have fun.
