I don't care what the kink is... just don't force it on me.  A troll typically tries to force their kink from what I have seen.  They want to use another for one purpose and have no interest in small talk... for lack of a better way to discribe how I view it.  I don't tolerate them well because they seem like bottom feeders to me.  Have nothing to impart and just wish to suck off of someone else.  Go for it... just don't involve me. lol  I don't know if this makes me judgmental or not... but I am willing to accept that one.

I look at this from a different perspective I guess because I am not sure why anyone would think that all of their kinks WILL be ok with everyone else. I certainly don't expect that everyone must be in line with mine. As for wanking.....wank away...but as dark said, be honest about what it is you are doing and don't cloak it on some honorable falsehood. If wanking is your thing, wank...but that also doesn't mean that I want to hear all the details after the fact or have you soliciting me for additional fodder.

i personally don't care. i don't personally see the interest anyone would have in *me* or what i possibly have to say but that's just my own insecurity. it's the joys of being on a public board--my lj communities run into the same issue. i have to echo what other people have said already-- just don't make it obvious what you're doing, just because it's a personal pet peeve of mine. i suppose i would rather be wank fodder than having someone come up and scream at me for not being weal or twue because i don't do things exactly the way that they do, regardless of the fact that they wouldn't know who i am if they ran into me in public (again that's just another personal pet peeve).

i find it more annoying when people perve my profile so often that it's obvious that they're using it as wank fodder. i have that happen a lot with local doms. i'm not sure if they're waiting for new pics (sorry guys my nudes are not going up unless He tells me to even though i've been told that they're decent) or if they're waiting for me to be single.

Yeah I am guilty of that myself... I mean in my case I am going to send a response so Im looking at a profile so as to send an appropriate non-cookie cutter response. Then I get a flight, or drama erupts at work, or I run an emergency squad call, or the cat decides to hang from the cieling fan, or I run out of cigarettes so I need to go to walgreens or SOMETHING happens that keeps me from finishing the response and then I lost my train of thought and start over.... Then by the time I get around to it again, its time to recheck the profile to see of it now says collared or something .... Same thing with the "favorites list" being put on my favorites list doesnt mean Im spanking it to you - just that I dont want to forget to get back to you. SO, if anyone sees ive favorite listed you and we havent spoken it doesnt mean Im jerking it means Im wanting to send you a note. Possibly because this site is interactive and many people have photos on their profiles?  You can also gather a sense of personality, accurate or not, by the conversations on the forums.
 
(I have not looked at altcom for years and have no idea about their current format.)

I've seen threads started by saying they were interested in wank fodder on a certain subject. No flaming resulted.

Flames erupt when people claim they have a serious question but are obviously only interested in wank fodder.

It's the lying to me and insulting my intelligence that gets my dander up, not asking for wank fodder.

I think desFIP hit the nail on the head.  It's the deception that some use to take advantage of other's in their need for wank material that bothers me.  I have people that I talk to that are out there simply to wank off or to get kinky and that is all they want, but they are not out there taking advantage or hurting anyone with their activity.  They are honest about it and even though their motive is to wank, they can be wonderful people in lots of ways.  Then there is the wanker who can think of nothing but wanking and will use any means to get off, often times treating people like they are nothing but a vessel of wank material for them.  They take the unwilling and try to use them, forcing their horny on anyone they can.  That I find offensive.

I guess I just assumed people used porn -- including D/s porn -- to enhance their masturbation experiences.  I think it's great.  I do it myself -- have even recommended some of my favorite reading material.
