Why is it, that when people get close to what they want, they run? I have met many fabulous and interesting people here. But, I have also met a fair share of people who seem to be terrified of what they really want. And find myself in the position of Elmer Fudd and the 'here bunny, bunny, nice bunny, I won't hurt you much...... heheheh.........' I'm starting to think maybe it's me! Anyone else have the bunny syndrome too?

all the time ... they don't turn up and then disppear ... or ring and say they can't make it because ... and then disappear ... it can't be me cause we've not met!

Oh ye am sorry but it's nice to know am not alone in this have tolded him i do not play games and to him it may not be playing games to it sure seems like it to me so now what am lost

I'm sorry to hear that. It's very disappointing when you spend so much time, chatting, emailing and making plans, only to have them run the other way!

The best way to get over an old potential slave? Start talking to a new potential slave! It's a lovely distraction, even if it doesn't lead to anything...

If i may - it may be a time/emotion saver to ask straight away "Are Y/you available?"
Mentally, physically, spiritually, emtionally, adding to this as question marks arise. If one is not available for anything more than online chat- Y/you both are aware of this and each can decide how much time and or emotions T/they wish to invest.

i have chatted with many knowing W/we had different goals from the start. i have learned many things and enjoyed the chats. When it was time to say good bye, it usually went nicely.
