Do you have a flat screen tv or computer monitor? Scientists claim manufacturing them has come at a huge environmental cost.

A gas used to produce the popular TVs, nitrogen trifluoride (NF3), is blamed as a contributing gas of global warming. The gas is 17,000 times more damaging to the atmosphere than carbon dioxide according to scientists.

I would like to see the proof of an upward spike in the Earth's temperature since these types of televisions began being produced. And just wondering, how many LCD or Plasma tvs does Al Gore own?
