I saw the Eagles and they were fantastic! Prior to them I saw Bette and Sting they were great as well.

Greatest Song? I couldn't choose just one.

Greatest Band.... hmmmm not sure I can name just one... I love ACDC, the old Bad Company.... but there's so many more.

Paul McCartney in 2005 was by far the best show ever.  Saw him again in 2007.  Live and Let Die was at or near the top of the set list.

Crosby Stills Nash & Young for their CSNY2K tour - everything was awesome.  The energy was incredible.  The song I remember most from that show was Guinnevere, but Neil rocked big time on many others.

Greatest song I've ever heard is Sleep Isabella by Abney Park. I'm a sucker for violin, offbeat music and lots of energy in the music.

Loreena Mckennitt has got to be up there for favorite artists based simply on her voice, yum! So many styles of music, why would anyone pick just one though?

And concerts ... I'd have to say RUSH back when they did the counterparts tour. Fangirl tackled the guitarist mid concert and you'd never know if if you hadn't been watching.

I saw the Eagles in 94.  Had floor seats in Giants stadium.  I was all kinds of fucked up that night.  Great concert.
The Allman Brothers are fantastic at the Beacon in NYC every March.
Saw Pink Floyd also in 94.  Once again all kinds of fucked up.  Another fantastic concert.  (It pays to take a limo to a concert...no driving)
Black Crowes in a smallish bar called Tradewinds at the Jersey shore.  Another favorite.
I saw Johnny Winter in a small venue in NJ.  He was great.
Rob Zombie is just trippy.  Loved his show.  the party in the Camden lot was a hell of a lot of fun too.
Jonny Lang at Waterloo...up close and personal.
Allman Brothers at Waterloo.
I could go on and on....too many good ones to pick just one.

All time best concert? Prince, Purple Rain. OMG, that man can sing, dance and puts on one hell of a show. I'd give almost anything to see him again. I waited in line overnight and got floor seats 8 rows from the stage, in the center. When he signaled security that people could come up in front by the stage, I was the first person they asked to go up. I was dead center, about 2' from the man. Talk about heaven at a concert. Oh ya, Sheila E. opened and DAMN, she was hot and talented as well.

Best song and band? Way too many too choose, though Icehouse is one of my favourites.

Concerts that I loved in no particular order:

Melissa Etheridege, later 90's, Bangor, Maine  Her voice is amazing. Truly live she gives me shivers...just wow..
AC/DC Old Orchard Beach, Maine. The parts I remember rocked!
The Ramones, Boston, MA. Jus a fun party punk rock old school blast. Opened for Cheap Trick, pretty cool too.
Steve Earle and John Hiatt, 2004 Camden, Maine 2004. Steve Earle was promoting his new anti-war anti-Bush CD "Revolution". Awesome show.

Favorite song is harder but one of my all time favorites that still gives me chills is Melissa's live cover of "The Weakness in Me."

p.s. Rain and Lumus, that sounds awesome I love Prince, Purple Rain is still on of my favorite CD's.

The best concert I saw was Talking Heads around 1983 -- they were the best band I saw at a festival and they played late in the day after The Ramones, B52s and others; The Police played last and just sounded lame after the Heads. Also playing at that festival the next day were some kids calling themselves U2; I wonder what happened to them?

Another that was mega fun was James Brown.

Greatest concert.....Fleetwood Mac, they played forever

Greatest song.....Feel Like a Number, Bob Seger   So simple, but describes the average man/womans lot in life

Greatest Group.....Creedence Clearwater Revival, the vocals. Fogerty's guitar. The hits. The pop. The serious tunes. The romance. The fun.  Just a damn fine, all around band.

Too many to name.  ZZ Top as a bar band back in about 71. Best ever.  No doubt, Moody Blues.  Great, Willie Nelson 76 4th of July concert in Arrowhead,  Iron Butterfky doing Innagoddivida in Lincoln Neb in about 69-70.
