it is sad to see so many profiles without pics, and the biggest culprits are the couples, I would love to meet an attractive couple to serve

Some people don't feel comfortable showing pictures of themselves, mainly due to jobs or not being "out". Maybe you should worry about other things than looks?

Some of our pictures were up then suddenly disappeared a few weeks ago -- I don't know why, my bath bubbles were covering everything "naughty" on me in mine.

I would like to change my avatar here at the boards with a different one but the option to up-load a pic for the avatar isn't available. I think the Mods may have put things on hold because of the obsenity crap happening. I wish I knew for sure though, maybe a Mod would be so kind as to let us know? *Brightspot

I don't want to be overwhelmed with email when everyone sees how handsome I am. :). Seriously, I'm not about to put my pic up due to my serious type career, but I have exchanged pics now and then. I remember one day a group of us in the chatroom all decided to swap pics and I even did that. So I'm not paranoid about it, but not totally public either.

I think you'd be surprised how many people don't have scanners. [:)] Also, there are many people who aren't comfortable putting photos of themselves online for all to see. Quite a few of the people who don't have pics in their profiles have them to mail out to people they see as potential partners. There are many, many reasons why people don't have pics on their profiles.

I've tried several times to upload one. I have no idea why they've been rejected, but I'm not really here to meet someone, so it's never really bothered me enough to contact support. I just direct anyone who wants a photo to my website. -SD-

I'm wondering how you got your picture posted in the 1st place . Clearly states only a picture you took yourself and well even i can tell yours was professionaly done

He probably used a tripod and timer on his camera. Mine are all self portraits taken like that and I think they look like they were taken by another.

The tricky thing about copyright law is that they don't ask you who took the picture. If you are taken to court over a copyright dispute they ask the defendent (if this were a case that would be collarme.com) "does the photograph in question appear to have been taken by a professional photographer?" If you say yes then you are guilty.
