I think that it is funny. I can find some female subs that I wants to meet, and they want nothing more then a casual D/s relationship. I guess with me that i want a sub that wants to be my sub, and just my sub.  Is this someone in the water here in denver, or do a lot of Doms find this??

I think that in the dating scene, there are people who what a LTR and there are people who just want to fling.  I have found there are a lot of subs out there who are more in love with submission than they will ever be with any one dominant they meet. 

There is a whole sort of sub-class of submissives who walk around in a state of semi-perpetual arousal not looking for Mr. Right, but rather for Mr. Right Now to control them for a time.  Then, either the dominant runs out of new tricks to ramp up the intensity, and they get bored, or they simply come upon someone else that they have some chemistry with and stop thinking as soon as they are told to, for the thrill of it. Many of them simply refer to themseves as sluts and that makes them a bit easier to spot, but most do not.

If that is not going to work for you, then I would suggest a long courtship process, a lot of patience and a high tolerance for dissapointment.  I know it would be much easier if they all had little signs over thier heads describing which kindof sub they were, but that just isn't the case, and like so much of the rest of the dating world, the 'good ones' that want the LTR are usually already in one.  I wish you luck.

Well, as far as my own personal experiences go:
 
I moved to the town I live in now about a year ago. When I first moved here, after about a month, I met a Domme. She and I became very good friends with one another, and even to this day share our different views and practices.
 
What she and I have both noticed is that..there is a shortage of subs and slaves in my local area. If they are here, then we simply can't find them. The life-style that we live is one that (in my area) is shunned. It's not welcomed here, and so I imagine that they're just keeping it to themselves, hoping they'll find a partner that will give them what they need, whether it's a sub finding the right Master, or a Master finding the right sub.
 
But what I've also noticed is that.. Here, on this website, the number of Dom(me)'s FAR out-numbers the number of subs/slaves, so even here, it's a bit difficult to find one to call your own.
