My eldest has graduated from University of ****** and now is happy with some Navy guy.. she is preggo..should I: -drop dead? -pretend I am 25, try to sneak into R rated movies by the back door like I was 16 (again)? -remind folks that I we/some of us are on the 3rd return (and death) of bellbottom pants? -color my hair grey....act all gramma, get some sweatshirts with kittens or landscapes on em? -JUMP? -accept it..and be normal? -be normal? -take up knitting? -tell people I was a mother when I was aged: low-teen'?? lies What do grammas do?? Is there some kinda initiation?

His oldest just had a girl. So as a step grandma I can confidantly inform you that your chief job is to spoil the baby from day one, if not before. Babies R Us, Toys R Us, baby rattles in the grocery store - your job is to shop till you drop! Oh yeah, and when they need the diaper changed, hand 'em back!

i have 6 in four different states - ages 1 to 13 - and it's really fun. Anytime you want to go somewhere that children go (circus, library, zoo, movies....) - take one of them with you. That way you can say you are there because the g'kids wanted to go.
