Ok... more of a vent than anything. I post my opinions on multiple posts, wanted or not, so here is yet another opinion of mine... I know from chatting with enough people that not everyone has the courtesy to reply to emails, even if its just to say "not interested", so I can kind of understand and put up with emails that were clearly copied and pasted to mass amounts of profiles, even though I myself make an attempt to respond to everyone. I can also deal with repeat emails from idiots who can't remember who they've emailed before. I can even deal with (although it takes a lot) the people that get pissy with me when I say Im not interested because Im not looking, even though if they had taken the time to read my profile (that they told me was so interesting and insightful on their mass copied email) they would have saved themselves a bit of time by not emailing me at all. What Im having a problem with however are the men (I'd say I get maybe one every other week) who think a picture of their penis enclosed in the email will be the selling point. Now, being only 25 I haven't "been around" that much, however I have been to my fair share of bars and clubs and not ONCE has any man come up to me and said "Hey baby you look hot tonight" and whipped out his penis in an attempt to sway my interests. Why would it be ok on the internet?? Really... penises vary on shape and size and even color but once you've seen one you've seen them all. If you're going to try to pick a woman up with a picture of your penis, there better be something damn special about it if you expect to get the kind of attention you think you should get. Draw a face on it, hang some ornaments on it, give it a sombrero and a poncho and call him the eliminator... whatever. AH! What ever happened to trying to impress a girl with your mental abilities... or hey how about the looks from the waist up? Hmm, yeah its old school I know... but it just might work!

Umm .... you mean a picture of a penis doesn't do anything for you? I think that is classic male thinking - they tend to be visually oriented, and think what they like, so do females like - therefore the picture of the penis. A picture of breasts would do it for them so a picture of a penis should do it for women. I would posit that these men aren't very good at reading women, since they obviously don't know a whole lot about them.
