But, seriously, as I am an adult and only play with adults, I'm really not big on the whole "punishment" paradigm.  If I were, however, the most effective punishment for me, a heavy maso, would leave no marks, because it would involve not even touching me.  Talk about cruel and unusual torture!

Status: offline 		I have often found - and this works with male and female - that inserting a butt plug which requires constant clenching of the buttocks to keep in place is a wonderful 'punishment' especially when worn in public with no pants to help stop it from slipping out.

The mental pressure of keeping it in and saving the shame of it slipping out with a 'plop' and landing on the floor or pavement in a public area is intense.

And, of course, little exercises can be carried out on command like stretching to get things off a top shelf in a store or being told to squat and still retain hold of the dildo and so on.

It really can be emotionally and mentally very tiring for a sub.

And you don't mind it if that little 80 year old lady who is at the store picking up her cottage cheese and incotinence pills and who is tottering along thinking about her great grandchildren and their upcoming birthdays with not a worry in the world and all of a sudden a wet and perhaps stained butt plugs lands "plop" at her feet? Of course, the slave/submissive should be trained properly, but some want to be given difficult challenges and punished if they don't measure up. That isn't play. It is real for them, a way of being pushed and stretched. I especially liked the idea of uncomfortable punishments that are unpleasant and memorable while not being out of proportion to the crime committed.

As for the bruises, people have many reasons for wanting to avoid them. I play with a submissive who takes blood thinners. I don't want to leave bruises because it is dangerous for his health. And, I don't want his doctor to see bruises, either. Another submissive with whom I play has an elderly mother and takes care of her. He is often at her house and doesn't want to risk having bruises that she might inadvertently see.

Status: offline 		- assuming the sub's knees are ok, extended kneeling sessions- 1-hour or +  as possible, hands behind neck, small book or whatever on head, no movement allowed

- if movement violation, kneeling discipline is repeated daily until successful

...definitely no marks or bruises, and a lesson absorbed for sure

Status: offline 		Master T uses "the ball", it can be mod for you I'm sure.  Master has me put on my high heels and cuffs me (hands behind head), sometimes blindfolds me, then he has me squat next to the wall and hold a ping pong ball with the tip of my nose (note, can't squish ball with my nose on wall, tip of nose).  This punishment works wonders, makes my legs yell for mercy and after about 10 minutes, I get unsteady as my legs are growning tired..but if I drop the ball either way more time (like 1/2 hour) with the ball OR Master will swat my ass or something else uncomfortable.

Status: offline 		If I may make a simple little comment, extended wear of clover clamps, they dont leave visible marks, and they hurt like hell after 20 minutes. if i understand right your sub is not into pain, then this may help you, and if hes really bad put a little weight on them.
