Before my next post gets me labeled a nazi, anti-semite, etc let me point out that I was married to a Jewish woman and I have had some fantastic times in Isreal. (Great place for an American Sailor to go for R&R and one of the few places in the region where you can get laid!) I have NOTHING against Jewish people. However, charectorizing Hitler as a nut is a huge disservice to history. I would say he was probably one of the most brilliant men who ever lived and probably one of the most effective leaders in history. He was a failed artist, who served an utterly undistinguished career as a corporal in a defeated army. He took a beaten decimated country and damn near took over the world with it! Even the holocaust, while reprehensible in its mission was utterly amazing in its execution. This little nobody from Austria led the systematic murder of over 11,000,000 people without the world catching on. We cant even put panties on some prisoners heads without it turning into an international fiasco. While utterly abhorrent in how he applied his talents, the man was an amazing manager and should probably be studied and taught in business schools. I would say he is more of a socially retarded genious than a nut. He was a nobody, who rose to seize power and it took the combined might of the US, UK, and USSR to put him down....
