I LOVE my face to be slapped... it will put me into a very submissive state right away! I have noticed though that I am having alot of jaw pain and along the one side of my head from my ear up part way my scalp is tingling and feels very odd.... I know that I had performed a lot of oral last weekend which could have part in it. Has anyone had anything like this happen to them??

I like having my face slapped, too - and hard. but there are serious risks there. I guess you could also suffer some damage from overdoing oral sex - esp. if you already had TMJ (rather you knew it or not), or if it were esp. rough. Yea, I prefer it that way too, but, srrsly, it sounds like you had a play related accident. Make an appointment to see your dentist. I hope you are out to him, if not, this might be a great time to discuss that. good luck. (btw - hit me up on the other side, okay? which is to say, i would write you, but my collar mail does not work. grrr>

It is very important that the person slapping you keeps their palm and fingers away from your ears and jaw line. Ideally, you want to use mostly your fingers, to hit in between the jaw and cheek bone. This can deliver a suprisingly hard blow, causing minimal damage to the slave. Any more than that and you risk rupturing the ear drum, bruising the tendons and ligaments of the jaw, or knocking the jaw out of it's sockets. Just to name a few. After the last really hard slap that I took, the side of my face tingled for about 6 weeks. I didn't have any actual pain, but the tingling worried me. It's pretty gone now. I read around a bit and decided it was some kind of nerve thing.

I had someone spank me on the ass last weekend and I've noticed that I am having a lot of pain in my buttocks, it tingles and feels very odd. Do you think this might be some sort of epidemic? Maybe a new undiscovered virus inflicting its awful damage on us?

That's kind of mean rule. :-/ I'm no expert, but you might have bruised something, or even caused a bit of nerve damage since its stretching all the way up to your scalp. Hopefully it will go away with rest and tylenol. (Bjs are not rest!)

Hey, Lynx, totally serious -- I don't slap, because I'm concerned about bad-hurting someone. Is this something you do professionally, and do you have safety pointers?

Eh... sometimes. When I bottom, I'll never let someone slap me in the face until I am familiar with them, and their style of play. Even when we do get into slapping- they are to use their fingers only... not the palm of the hand. I reached this decision after one of my very first pro sessions I was straight up punched in the face as soon as I walked in the room. I had agreed to slapping with him over the phone.. mistake on my part, but a learning experience. When I top, I hold their head in my left hand, and slap with my right- it's more contolled that way. I was told in the Army that a person who has had laser surgery could actually have their eyes rupture with a good blow to the head. Eep.. nice visual Sgt. So, I'm cautious, no backhanding, no instruments in the face, and I avoid their temple, and ears. Cheeks are nice and poofy... not too much to seriously injure there.

Hey rule, you may not be aware that there are some extremely important facial nerves on the side of the face near the ear. Irritation or damage to the facial nerves can cause problems with the eyes and ears as well as muscles of the face.

I experienced this some time ago when I was boxing. If we were gloves off my face would not only be bruised slightly but tingly and achey for weeks afterwards. Simply put, this kind of impact affects the nerves in your face which are quite delicate. They do repair eventually, but it's their way of telling you that they're hurt and the brain's way of checking that they are still working.

I agree... I took my share of slaps =laughs=...I flinched for a few yrs afterwards anytime a ladies hand got close to my...face... However...like you siad there are ways you can slap and not do alot of harm... Fingers spread apart...was how I was....taught. Having a good grip on ones hair so they cant move helps as well... But....sometimes stuff happens <shrugs> The name of the...game.

I love face slapping! As much as i enjoy it...definitely puts me in a submissive head space...but i don't want to be knocked into next week or have to cover bruises...so you absolutely need to trust the person doing it.....
