   For one: Yahoo Answers isn't like Reuters or anything...I assume that any answer or question there is transcribed for some monkey who can use sign language. I don't think that a whole lot of people use them for serious questions or information.

   For two: Um...this site can be and is frequently used as a no string sexual hook-up site. I see no problem with that-it isn't my thing, guess it isn't yours, but just because it doesn't work for us doesn't mean it's wrong. You must have collarme confused with mykinkysoulmate.com or something.

Well, excuse me for believing the purpose of this site was to offer people interested in the various facets of BDSM an online meeting place for discussion and possibly more. I don't see the purpose of this site to be for the use of idiots for easy "no string" sex.

The point was implied. I didn't think I had to spell it out. It's obvious that some view BDSM sites as a means of an easy hook-up. Certainly this isn't earth-shattering or even new news, but it's disheartening to see.

According to the official Terms of Service:

Which may include people who are looking to "hook up for no-strings sex" Nowhere in the TOS does it proclaim this site to  "offer people interested in the various facets of BDSM an online meeting place for discussion and possibly more."  Nor does it proclaim the site off limits to idiots. 

i understand your frustration that wankers may be directed to CM but the wankers would find it anyway.  Just take a deep breath and thank all gods if this is the worst thing happening in your life right now.

i hardly think that is the case at all, i believe the vast majority of people here are sincere in their desire to communicate with other folks interested in BDSM in all its diversity.  However, i personally am not going to let a few wankers ruin my day.

I genuinely think this site is a great way to meet people and discuss different aspects of the lifestyle that interest us. It's where my whole myspace joke came from.

Status: offline 		a site is only as good as the people who participate in it. i have avoided Collarme in the past.... i couldn't get past the first few days of overwhelming mail. this time around i decided to stick it out and i have found some very exciting, insightful, humourous people to connect and interact with.
 
nothing wrong with a no strings attached interactions either. in fact, i made one last night....he travels to my area from NYC once a month on business...i am looking forward to our first meet this week. sometimes it is just about physical needs....why would i want to deny myself that? this slut can't think of a good reason. not today anyway.

Status: offline 		We each have our own purpose for being here, your purpose may not be for no strings sex but who are you judge those who are here for those kinds of hook-ups? After all are they not conscenting adults who make that choice if you want something more then don't settle for string free sex. The TOS pretty much states what the purpose of this site is at least in my opinion.
 
BTW... for some odd reason this OP kind of reminded me of those who bitch and complain about all of the subs/slaves that have profiles on the other side but are not "looking" or are already owned.
