obviously this 18 year old filled some need he was having. yes, christie is gorgeous, (i'd kill to have her long legs), but if the marriage was bad i don't think it matters how she looks at the end of the day. what matters is what's in the heart i think.

Well, if she's smart, there won't be a 5th Mr. Brinkley! I didn't realize he was #4......I wonder how much he's going to try to get from her. The sad part is that it's all coming out in the wash, and her kids have been testifying too. I haven't really read or heard why it went to a trial instead of being settled out of court, though. But the press are certainly having a field day! Must be a slow news day in NYC.

Based purely on anecdotal evidence people don't have affairs simply because the new person is better looking than their current person, it is more likely to be because they feel they are being listened to more, they are talking more, they are having more sex, they feel they get more respect etc etc from the new interest. Being married to a super model or not, he would still be seeing her first thing in the morning with no make up, when she is in a bad mood and all of the other natural cycles that happen in a long term relationship. I imagine he would generally have only been seeing all of the 'good' stuff with a dalliance.

I actually think the Diana girl is better looking. Then again Christie Brinkley was never hot and sexy to me. If I was married to her........she'd be chained in the basement and liking it.
