The title of the story is what caught my interest... it was just to "special" to not read.  The title "4th prison term looms for serial sock-snatcher".

LOL Jesus Christ I know just the punishment for this man.... But the supreme court would never allow it... He should be forced to wear a pair of BrittneyLee's socks around his neck - after she has worn them with her cowboy boots. Those things are so fucking bad that my dog would run away from them and thats a retarded creature that licks its own asshole LOL

Ive heard of this with panties though... The one time I ever had an encounter with an intruder, it was a burgular who had broken in to jerk off with my now ex-wifes lingerie. It was funny as hell too cause I just came back from shooting and I walked in with an AR-15 in my hands to put it in the bedroom closet and there was this asshole stroking with her undies. He was begging me not to shoot him and pleading for his life and the fucking thing wasnt even loaded, I had no idea he was even in there and just walked into the bedroom to put it away in the closet.

I think panty thieves are actually pretty common though.... After a party at my house all the soiled pairs Britt had in there vanished from the hamper... I was pissed too cause my favorites were in there and they were part of a set so she had the camitop but not the matching bikinis anymore. A friend of mine in college used to guard hers cause they vanished from the laundry LOL

He needs to be treated for OCD.  Foot and shoe/stocking fetishes are very common and some of my stuff has gone missing before.

Obviously, the breaking in and entering needs to be punished yet again.  I was wondering though, if the local Salvation Army or other such organization was to set aside a pair or 6 every month for the man, would that help.  Every month would be like Christmas, getting a bag of female socks, for perhaps some community service.

Just thinking out loud.

lol Thadius, ok thats funny:) I wonder if they need to be worn or clean, I have tons that my kids bought for me, and I never wear them. altho it would be hard to give up my ninja turtle and tigger ones.
Seriously tho, yeah he needs to do something about his compulsion/OCD whatever is wrong with him, ok hes been sentanced to 16 years total for three crimes of burglary and sock stealing, yeah he definitely should be institutionalised, WTH? Hes a danger to himself more than anyone else by the loook of it, and someone will probably end up shooting him or beating the crap outta him if he does it again.

I have a brother that has a thing for garments worn by females. That's all I am going to say about that...........old squick factor there.

Edited to add.........and now Thadius, I shall have to beat you with a dirty, wet, wool sock for reminding me of that odd memory from my past!!!

Oh that is sad. What a waste of taxpayer money when this guy needs psychological help. From what I read he didn't use a weapon, he just couldn't break his compulsion.
