Just now Psyche was making us Cosmos, spilled some vodka on the deck, and I said in an offhand way, "Lick it up bitch" and turned to the fridge to get out my mixings. I turned around, and there she was, dutifully on her hands and knees lapping it up. God bless her for her devotion and punctilious attention - damn my eyes for my throw-away comments.
